When I started TIDAL I had a desire to offer trips

When I started TIDAL I had a desire to offer trips for kids who want to learn how to bass fish but their families don’t have access or know how to teach them. It’s been my most booked trip over my first full year and today was another example of why I enjoy it so much. Nothing better than watching the joy of a parent fishing with their child and the excitement that comes with a fish catch. Look forward to more of these trips in April.

The frog bite was solid today on the low switch in the Central Delta. Biggest tip is to find a way to get shallow without blowing it all up with the trolling motor. Take your time and work through areas thoroughly. Book a trip, it’s getting fun out there! Some spots avail in April and then late May through the summer is wide open. Let’s go fishing.

This young man and I had such a fun day. Starting a new business as a fishing guide has been a great experience. I have all the same offerings as other guides but wanted to offer something for families and kids who need to learn it all. From tying knots, how to cast, how to bait a hook, handle fish, etc. This service has actually been popular and super fun for me. Had a great day on the Delta with some firefighter clients on a full day trip. Low tide was tough but the early morning bite and the midday to afternoon incoming tide bite was strong.
